Meet the Team: Rachel, Manager

We recently welcomed Rachel as the new Registered Manager at Barton House. With nearly 30 years of experience in the care industry, Rachel started her career as a carer and has progressively advanced through various roles, from senior carer to supervisor, equipping her with invaluable experience for her current position.

 

Rachel also serves as the Registered Manager at Needwood House. Her dual role allows her to share best practices between both homes, ensuring consistently high standards of care.

 

Rachel shared her enthusiasm: “I was incredibly excited to join the Barton House team and work with people who share my values and strive to give the residents the best care possible. Whether supporting someone with a life-limiting condition requiring 24-hour care or enhancing the quality of life for someone with a complex medical condition, we prioritise getting to know each resident, understanding their unique needs, and creating a personalised care plan that suits them as individuals.

 

Our dedicated care approach is bolstered by a team of qualified nurses available to administer necessary medication in consultation with doctors. Additionally, our in-house chef prepares home-cooked meals daily, and we enjoy bringing in entertainment to enhance the residents’ experience.”
