Meet the Team: Happy, Care Assistant

At Barton House, we take great pride in finding the right people to have as part of the team to ensure we provide our residents the best care. Their unwavering commitment to our residents makes them an invaluable part of our team, and we are grateful to have them with us.

Care Assistant Happy is an excellent example of our core values at Barton House. Happy enjoys helping residents to ensure their primary care needs are met to the highest standard. Qualified to HND level, Happy brings over four years of care experience to her role.

Day to day, Happy assists residents with personal care needs like washing, dressing, and maintaining hygiene. Happy works with empathy, honesty, and integrity, providing support with eating and drinking, being a companion to our residents, and spending time one-on-one with residents to support them in any activities they wish to undertake.

Happy says, “I really do love my job at Barton House Care Home. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. Caring for the lovely residents is a great privilege, and I very much enjoy going to work. No day goes by without being able to smile at work.”

Happy is an integral part of the Care Team at Barton House, helping spread joy throughout the home. Rachel, Manager at Barton House Care Home, says, “Happy has such a wonderful friendly personality and is very much loved by residents and staff alike. Her warm nature is infectious, showing compassion and empathy to all.”
